Welcome to the official configuration guide! Here you’ll learn how to tweak performance settings, graphics options, and memory allocation.

🛠️ Configuring Performance Settings

MossyPacks Modpacks are already optimized, but you can squeeze out even more FPS with the following tweaks.

1. Graphics Settings

• V-Sync: Off (unless screen tearing occurs) Options → Video Settings
• Graphics Quality: Set to Fast
• Render Distance: Recommended 6–8 chunks

2. Iris / OptiFine Settings

• Smooth Lighting: Off for FPS boost
• Performance Mode: Max FPS
• Chunk Loading: Multi-Core enabled

3. Memory Allocation

• Open Minecraft Launcher
• Edit your modpack profile
• Under JVM Arguments, set -Xmx6G or higher

💡 Recommended: 6–8 GB RAM

❓ Troubleshooting

• Low FPS: Lower render distance, disable V-Sync
• Game Crashes: Check logs for mod conflicts
• World Lag: Reduce heavy shaders or world-gen mods
